Definition

The state or process of being disabled; the act of making a person or device inoperative.

Prerequisite chain

  1. Condition. An accident, illness, or device fault has occurred
  2. Functional status. Ability to do routine tasks is reduced
  3. Applied test. No formal test - informal, ongoing observation
Assessment basis (treatment / aids) — Aids/meds may slow or halt the progression, but general use does not strictly exclude them.
