Statutory compensation for bodily injury caused by the driving of a motor vehicle in South Africa. Not a SASSA grant and not private motor insurance’s passenger liability in the same sense.

Who it is for
Injured persons (and dependants of deceased persons) where a motor vehicle is involved, subject to RAF Act limits and prescriptions.
State compensation fund. Private vehicle insurance and income protection are separate contracts and may offset.
