Who it is for
People who cannot use public transport without substantial assistance and who travel for approved work, study or volunteer activity.
A small travel supplement. It is not DSP and not NDIS funding.
ISSA (1 January 2024) — Qualifying conditions (ISSA 2024)
Aged 16 or older, assessed disability, needs assistance to use public transport, medical certificate. Standard rate: working, seeking work, studying or volunteering at least 32 hours a week, or a listed benefit test. Higher rate: working or seeking work at least 15 hours a week, or on DSP / Parenting Payment / JobSeeker / Youth Allowance. Indexed in January.
