Conditions, medicines & care pathways

Australian ICD-10-AM conditions, PBS medicines, private health funds, prescribed therapies, and AHPRA-registered clinician roles — template in place; data ingestion forthcoming via the National Clinical Terminology Service (NCTS) and the PBS Public API.

This is the Australian ClinicalAtlas template, nested under RiskAtlas. The directory structure matches ClinicalAtlas ZA. Ingest is recorded on Core AU (ICD-10-AM, PBS, TGA, AHPRA, private health funds) — not here. Conditions are planned to draw on the National Clinical Terminology Service (NCTS) — SNOMED CT-AU, AMT, and ICD-10-AM mapping — with MedServe (Australian Digital Health Agency, open source) as a candidate terminology-server implementation. Medicines are planned to draw on the PBS Public API v3 (free subscription key, no NCTS dependency) — client built in pbs_api.py, not yet wired to live data. ClaimBuddy can draw on this layer once Core AU is populated.

Medicine scheduling (Poisons Standard)

How scheduled medicines are controlled under the Poisons Standard (SUSMP), administered by the TGA — Australia's equivalent to ClinicalAtlas ZA's Medicines Act ladder, same idea, different rungs.

Schedule 2 Pharmacy Medicine
Schedule 3 Pharmacist Only Medicine
Schedule 4 Prescription Only Medicine
Schedule 8 Controlled Drug
Schedule 9 Prohibited Substance
Not scheduled Referral service
